Keeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team were close to being six behind at Bournemouth but for him. Crucial performance, delivered and displayed some quality. Superb shot-stopping to secure a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their entire term.
Backline
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for player of the season. People will talk Arsenal's squad. He's been the best performer by a country mile.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a crazy Forest fan to say 'He scores and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got huge prices on that. He performed brilliantly. He's becoming a powerhouse. He can really be a handful. Pleased to watch him perform similar to before.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him several occasions earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled due to errors. Yet now he's been a monster. He's been great strength and powerful and appears graceful. It appears he has discovered a perfect fit.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a left-back, rather a modern type offensively. He is a great purchase for Brighton. Few are astonished at them unearthing more talent from obscurity? It seemed after selling Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know better than most.
Engine room
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they are selected for the shared purpose. Their sides were victorious, everyone will talk those who netted, but lacking these players the squads falter. They excel. They halt attacks, they support going forward.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. Many Arsenal fans, including my son, had doubts if he could be the man to get them over the top. A hat-trick in the key match and supporters now wish to make a statue of him. Finishing, poise, he ran the show. The standout individual on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it's going to be quite challenging to bench him. I felt his beginning was strong to the season, In my opinion he acted with some expectation and hoped he might have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he appears to have found his footing. A brilliant brace obviously against Leeds helped his club from behind. He proved decisive.
Attackers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he appeared not his typical form. It seemed he was slower. But wow. That's all I can say. He performed superbly. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He performs strongly, typically sharper off the bench, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he must start. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. However showing the mental fortitude to enter into difficult situations and score twice was remarkable.
Coach
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and surpasses Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. It could have been five or six for Forest and nobody could have argued.
