In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden group.

The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an unique katana alongside multiple objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
